trace the relatives. More in depth information will be added to MY
pages as and when I find it.

Inspiration
After the death of both my mother
and father, I moved from London to Accrington in Lancashire. When
I unpacked, I found my grandfather's birth certificate. I was amazed
to find he was born just 8 miles or so from where I now live. I decided
to investigate my family history, and found a wealth of information
starting as far back as Walter de Grimshaw who died around 1316 just
5 miles away. My fathers tree is now added, pages to follow, (Telfer's
of Hawick).

Construction
This is my forth website construction. The aim is the same as the first but with some experience behind me it should be better.
My aim is not just to find and find out about my line of decent, but also to find my whole tree wherever that may lead. I am trying to include photographs and information based on factual documentation. If you find any of my information incorrect and can help me by correcting it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

My name is Christopher Kyle Telfer, born 1962 in London .
My mother was Phyllis Grimshaw and my father was Thomas Telfer.

I lived in London until 1989 when
I moved to Cirencester and then settled in Accrington. I now live
with my girlfriend her four children 2 girls and 2 boys, and we now
have a daughter together.

As I gleen more information on an area it will be added, wether it is in my direct line or not. So check the pages you are interested in every few months.
